Job Details

Optasia is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Project Coordinator to join their Project Delivery team. The primary objective of this role is to oversee the creation, planning, execution, and closure of deliverables involving software development changes. The Project Coordinator will drive business processes and guidelines related to these deliverables, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliverable Execution: Coordinate closely on deliverable execution, taking responsibility for planning and managing scope and schedule.
• Monitoring and Control: Oversee each sub-team’s deliverables, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Change and Risk Management: Manage planned and unplanned changes, risks, and issues to ensure rapid delivery and greater predictability.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Engage stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and address their needs, both internally and with clients, primarily MNOs.
• Priority Management: Adapt to shifts in priorities from senior leadership, ensuring team members remain focused and handle changes with minimal disruption to productivity.
• Reporting: Generate and present reports as needed to provide insights into project status and performance.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 2-3 years of recent related work experience in financial services, telecommunications, or IT sectors.
• Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in process and project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication Skills: Proficiency in facilitating status meetings and presenting to large groups, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for identifying problems, mediating issues, developing solutions, and implementing appropriate courses of action.
