Key Responsibilities

• Policy and Regulatory Coverage: Deliver timely and accurate reports on technology policies, business regulations, and government initiatives impacting Nigeria and Africa’s tech landscape.
• Exclusive News and Analysis: Break exclusive stories and provide insightful analysis on regulatory shifts, policy developments, and their effects on startups, venture capital, and digital businesses.
• Interviews and Investigations: Conduct high-profile interviews with policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders while producing investigative pieces on tech governance and regulation.
• Event and Conference Reporting: Attend and report on government briefings, industry summits, and policy discussions in Abuja, offering real-time updates and in-depth recaps.
• Collaboration and Thought Leadership: Partner with the editorial team to create special reports, whitepapers, and campaigns that position us as a leader in tech policy journalism.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in journalism, ideally covering tech, business, or policy beats.

• Sourcing and Networking: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulators, and private-sector leaders.
