WebFX is seeking a talented and research-oriented Remote Copywriter specializing in Technology and Software as a Service (SaaS). This role involves creating engaging and informative content on a wide range of topics within the technology and SaaS sectors, including data analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud technology, IT infrastructure, and wearable technology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for exploring these subjects and the ability to translate complex information into user-friendly copy that aligns with clients’ voices and styles.

Location

This position is fully remote, allowing candidates to work from any location with a reliable internet connection. WebFX has a global presence and is expanding its team in various regions, including South Africa. The company recently opened an office in Cape Town to support this growth, but team members can operate from their preferred locations.

Job Type

This is a full-time contract position requiring 42.5 hours of availability per week. The role offers flexibility, enabling team members to manage their schedules effectively while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality content. Working hours are from 3:30 pm to 12 midnight local time, with a half-hour break that can be taken between 6 pm and 8 pm.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Copywriter specializing in Technology and SaaS, your responsibilities will include:

• Content Creation: Researching and writing a variety of content types, such as blog posts, sales copy, and long-form articles, covering topics across the technology and SaaS industries.
• Client Collaboration: Working closely with clients to understand their brand voice and style, ensuring that all content aligns with their specific requirements and resonates with their target audience.
• Research Excellence: Conducting in-depth research using authoritative sources, professional journals, and data sets to produce accurate and insightful content.
• SEO Integration: Incorporating search engine optimization best practices into content to enhance online visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Time Management: Effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
• Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology and SaaS to produce relevant and forward-thinking content.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should possess:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Professional Writing, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: At least 18 months of professional writing experience, preferably with a focus on technology and SaaS topics.
• Exceptional Writing Skills: Ability to adapt writing style to fit various tones, voices, and audiences, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Research Proficiency: Experience in conducting thorough research and interpreting complex information to create clear and engaging content.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, SEO practices, and content management systems is advantageous.

Salary

Compensation for this role is negotiable and based on experience. In addition to competitive base pay, WebFX offers performance bonuses, company profit-sharing, and health insurance benefits, including dental, vision, and remote doctor services. Team members also receive a monthly stipend to enhance their remote work experience and an annual travel stipend after the first year of employment.
