Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and deploy the most efficient cloud-based solutions.
• Plan, design, and develop cloud applications tailored to client needs.
• Manage cloud environments while adhering to strict company security guidelines.
• Deploy, debug, and enhance cloud initiatives, following best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify potential security threats and propose proactive solutions to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3+ years of experience in a Cloud Engineer role or similar position (exceptions for highly skilled cloud developers).
• Certification in AWS Solutions Architect and Cloud Security (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer).
• Proven experience in software development with languages like Java, Python, C++, or Ruby.
• Strong knowledge of web services, APIs, REST, and RPC.
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack, Linux/UNIX, Rackspace, Docker, and Microsoft Azure.
• In-depth understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks.
• Expertise in databases, including SQL, NoSQL, and platforms like PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior development experience with C#, .NET Framework, and PowerShell scripting.
• Fluency in English for seamless communication in a global team.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4-hour overlap with U.S. time zones.
